Pros

Flexible time off. PG told me during the interview process that they value work / life balance, and they mean it. It doesn't seem like people are taking advantage of it either, which keeps team morale high. Good benefits. Most of the plans have a high deductible (at least in my opinion), but the monthly fee is affordable and it covers my wife and I. I think the deductible and some of the other limitations are more so on the healthcare industry right now than PG. There is a positive and supportive culture. Management and executive team is highly accessible and open to input. The executive team appears to be fiscally responsible and aware of challenges around the corner. Well respected company that just about everyone in healthcare industry knows about. Even when I go to get blood drawn at a lab, the techs know all about PG. Phone and home internet stipend. PG is a fully remote company and they do it well.

Cons

PG acquired a handful of companies in recent years. They have been slow to fully integrate them into the PG fold, which has stretched engineering thin. Many many parts are moving, which creates confusion and a lack of documentation, but I have seen noticeable improvement since I started. I was told before I started that even though I'm salary, they don't want us working OT for work / life balance. I've never been asked to work OT or even pushed in that direction, but for personal sanity, I have definitely put in extra hours to try to stay caught up on my workload. With recent changes, this seems like it will happen less often, if at all. Wish the health benefits covered more and they offered a few additional benefits.

Pros

Over the past five years, Press Ganey has gone through a tremendous amount of transformation but three important things have stay the same. People--I view the people I work with as my friends. Having friends at work creates a climate of trust and respect. I always want to go above and beyond to help others on the work that they are doing. Every morning I wake up excited to be working with my colleagues to challenge each other and create the right solutions for our clients to drive improvement in their key performance metrics. Purpose--After working outside of healthcare for many years, the mission of the work that Press Ganey attracted me to join the PG family. Everything we do at Press Ganey is done with the purpose of creating a better and safer experience for patients. It does not get better than that! Passion--Working at Press Ganey is more than a job. Seeing the passion not only in our leaders, but also our frontline consultants exhilarates me each and every day.

Cons

Press Ganey has grown and expanded tremendously over the past 5 years to strengthen our position as experts in healthcare and technology. With this type expansion, sometimes it is difficult to integrate the strengths of the acquisitions at the speed we would all like. Although listed here as a con, the exciting part is that we all are able to be part of the strategy on how to leverage the acquisitions to better serve our clients.
