Pros

Work schedule is very flexible

Cons

ABSOLUTE THIEF'S! My son worked for Prime until he was laid off in early August. In June, my son was #2 in sales in the area and earned a very nice commission. This low life company is now not paying June because they laid him off in August. He just spoke with Terry Lee and he said that no employee will be paid their last commission check when they leave the company. "You have to be there in good standing to get your last commission." Think about that, if you're laid off, you will NEVER receive your last check. They pay their commissions 2 months after they're earned. We are now filing a complaint with the labor board. DON'T EVER WORK FOR, OR DO BUSINES

Pros

My coworkers at the store were really nice and the Store Manager was awesome. Pay can be okay depending on traffic.

Cons

A lot of cons: - upper management (District Manager and above) are disconnected with the reality. They think you can sell everything to every customers. If you make a good sale, instead of congratulating you, they will ask why you didn't sell more - the commission structure is very bad. I worked for the company for 10 months and it has changed several times . It's mostly to pay the employees less. - there are too many metrics to take care of, so at the end you almost have to lie to the customers to be able to meet your metrics. - my former District Manager literally lied to me in order to demote me to RSC from an ASM position. - if you have a question to HR concerning money, you'll never have your answer. I am waiting for an answer from an email in March and even after multiple tries, they never replied. - the commission pay as an ASM can be okay but only if the store has a lot of traffic. Otherwise it's terrible.

Pros

Benefits. Thats it. The basic requirement for having a job nowadays, and they can arguably hardly even do that right.

Cons

- Management is toxic from the top down - Bullying and belittling is a tactic often used by "Leadership". - Fraudulent activity is praised and covertly encouraged. - Micromanagement is grotesque. - Quota requirements continue to climb, even in the midst of a global pandemic. - Commissions and/or payouts are inconceivably impossible to track due to the sheer factor there is no way to determine when or if you have received a chargeback. - Compensation is decent assuming you're willing to do whatever it takes to close a sale. Even if that means doing some very amoral things to the customers account. - Work/Life balance is horrendous. They're intrusive and require constant engagement in meaningless calls, group texts, email chains and zoom trainings. - Tenure means nothing. You are replaceable. To management you are just a number. - Lack of communication. I could go on, but you get the point...
