Pros

NONE- this place will rip you to pieces and you are so replaceable. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU.

Cons

There is so much to be said. I do not know if I will be able to fit it all in here. I will start with the micromanaging, it is the absolute worst, I have never worked at a place where they stop short of managing your breathing patterns. A job that could easily be done remotely, but they make you "earn" the WFH days, and you earn 1 day like every 8 months if you are lucky enough to hit their metrics. The pay is SO LOW for the amount of work that is put in, and the cherry on top is the 2% commission you start off with for a year. We rip off clinicians, that CLEARLY deserve the money that they are asking for, trust me if you are told as an SLP that you can only be paid $ 40-45, they could easily pay you upwards of $50, but they want to low ball you to protect their margins. Everything is so political- if management does not like you - you will be gone, or they will make you miserable enough that you just bolt. IF they like you it wont matter of you CANT produce, as long as you suck up to them they will let you continue being mediocre until enough people around you leave because of the miserable conditions and you are left with all of their contracts. All the AE's know and think this, even the ones that lick boots, but management is naïve or they just don't care, probably the latter. If you are reached out by them... save yourself, it is NOT worth it. You will work hard and they just see you as another number. You are not cared about at all. They could care less about what happens with you as long as you meet their ridiculous call metrics. Those "perks" that you "earn" after making them a certain amount of money, can easily be stripped from you if you dont rip off another clinician every 14 days- WEEKENDS included. I regret ever signing on to work here. I hope that I am out of here soon, and I also wish this review saves a lot of people.

Pros

The specific group of people I worked with was enjoyable. I loved my credentialing team.

Cons

Management has conflicting interests. The credentialer's job is to make sure that the special education professional being placed on assignment has completed all necessary state and federal requirements before being able to treat children; the manager overseeing this department has a background as a recruiter, so their goal is to get people started ASAP to create revenue for the company. As a result, I was cornered by management multiple times and pressured to allow people to start working/TREATING CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS before they were compliant with state/federal law. A lot of contracted employees with this company are pushed to start with a pending license (read: are unlicensed), even in states where that isn't legal, because it's "been approved by management." In short, management puts their numbers/commissions over the quality of treatment that these children with special needs are receiving. During my time with ProCare, I was frequently put in a position where I needed to choose between ethics/legality and my reputation at work/my job. I would recommend that anyone pursing this position carefully consider whether they would want their name attached to that which this company represents.
