Proctor Financial is a great community to work in. The people are knowledgeable, understanding, and patient. This is a good opportunity for people to gain experience in the corporate world. Proctor has very affordable and comprehensive benefits. Proctor provides employees who may not have furthered their education beyond high school or some college the opportunity for a stable, rewarding careeer and growth.

Cons

For some people, the demand of meeting production or quality standards is difficult, but management wants everyone to succeed and meets frequently with their team to ensure that they address issues timely.

Pros

The work atmosphere is pleasant. The office is clean, modern, and well maintained. The leadership genuinely cares about its teammates as demonstrated by its support of "jean days" for those suffering misfortune in their lives. Benefits are well above average. Those that strive to serve client's needs are well recognized.

Cons

Management clearly expects folks to continuously learn and provide value in excess of one's costs. Those less initiated will struggle with that expectation.

Thank you for your feedback. Proctor is in the process of implementing department and companywide training courses to assist employees to gain the necessary knowledge and tools needed to be successful in their current and future positions. Training is an ongoing process and the initial training that we offer to our employees is like no other. We train beyond the standards that are set forth by our clients’ expectations. At Proctor, production measurement is ongoing and if an employee is struggling with the requirements of the position, they meet with their team lead or manager. Each employee is given the opportunity to work with their team lead, supervisor or manager to assist them in making the necessary processing improvements. In some cases, weekly action plans are created and monitored by both the employee and manager. It is up to the employee to take advantage of the offer or make the necessary improvements. We pride ourselves on giving our employees here at Proctor every opportunity to be successful.

Paid benefits, flexible hours, LOTS of training, room to advance, encouragement to advance. Upper management is very accessible and welcomes conversation and new ideas. The company promotes a healthy work/life balance. There are quarterly meetings to keep all staff "in the loop" as to how the company is performing and what direction they are moving. They are socially responsible and allow the employees to host "Charity Jean Days" and throughout the year they celebrate their staff in various ways. I came to Proctor about 4 years ago from a company that worked me 7 days a week, 12 hours (or more) per day, and deliberately understaffed us. Proctor showed me that not all companies are the same. Not only do they appreciate their clients and strive to provide the best product and service to their clients, they do the same with their employees. I have learned that the grass can be greener on the other side!

Cons

Some of the workload can be "seasonal" and thus there are times when overtime is required or temporary staff needed. Compensation might be a bit on the low side.
