Just when you think it can’t get worse

Pros

Remote work. A steady pay check.

Cons

Micromanagement: reporting on top of reporting that takes time away from the actual role. Toxic positivity: an environment where groupthink thrives is one where concern or questions are perceived as threats. More output, decreased compensation: give your team some credit. It’s blaringly obvious that we won’t meet metrics to have any of our hard work pay out commissions/bonus like it has. Lack of transparency in outlook: rumors abound. I won’t add detail here but we are onto the changes and would love to not be the last to hear about major changes in ownership etc. Declining environment: turnover times hiring freeze equals denigrating quality and loss of knowledge all over the place.

Terrible Place to Work

Pros

Remote work (if you're not near an office)

Cons

THE NEGATIVE GLASSDOOR REVIEWS ARE TRUE. If you are in between jobs and strapped for cash, do food delivery and rideshare. The amount of stress, dehumanizing, bullying, and low pay that you will receive from this company is not worth your mental health. You will not have worklife balance. They do not care about anyone that's not in upper management. They roll out new pay structures in a moments notice that benefit upper management. Unrealistic performance expectations. Pressure to work overtime and weekends without additional compensation. Commission starts after placing 4 talents; at your fifth talent, it's $70 per talent per week only if they work over 24 hours (if they are sick, have pto planned, or anything you are not paid that $70 commission). If you fall below 4 talent, you will consistently not be paid commission until you have more than 4 talent working. Impossible tracking bonuses and talent placements. PowerBI (the system Prolink uses) is altered by upper management daily. HR shares all concerns to upper management leading to retaliation and termination. Multiple platforms used (Microsoft Teams, Bullhorn, SharePoint, Outlook, and Smartsheet) leading to impossible communication and workflow. Prolink has been "rolling out" Dynamics for 5+ years. It's impossible to know what's going on in this company. POC are terminated at a rapid pace. Multiple rounds of layoffs in recent months (coordinators, compliance teams, recruitment managers, and recruiters). You hire people to work 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM) but then you put people on Success Plans and Corrective Action Plans if they don't work overtime or need to use their PTO for more than a week. There is no overtime pay. Prolink will terminate you and log it as voluntary resignation which prevents you from signing up for unemployment. If you have PTO accumulated at your time of termination or resignation, they will not pay you out for PTO. Inconsistent pay rates for similar travel assignments. Nurses have to threaten to sue in order to receive equal pay. Recruiters are disciplined if they vouch for equal pay for their nurses. Issues with recruiters competing for candidates. If a recruiter is more tenured than another, they will "win" any candidate even if they violate "Rules of Engagement”- rules set in place to ensure there is no overlap in talent communication. But this is not held in place.

We hope that you receive the support you need to feel better about the work you are doing, and the organization as a whole. While you have noted little trust in the HR team, our team is on standby for you to reach out. We hope to amaze you with how much care the team gives to concerns, and how we can work with you on your experience. Much of what was written about the company's practices is not portrayed accurately. Prolink pays for all hours worked, overtime is not mandatory, HR leads and manages with confidentiality, and terminations are coded correctly and not masked for any reason. We would love the opportunity to show you how we care.

Pros

Amazing team lead and manager and loved the other members in my team.

Cons

I would be surprised if prolink lasts another 3 years. I lost my job due to them outsourcing what I did to people outside of the country for cheaper labor. I gave years of my life to this company just to be let go because they bit off more then they could chew. There is no transparency and while we were told they would see if we could work in other sections in the company, this too was a lie. Severance was a joke. Pay wasn’t horrible but also could have been better, compliance is treated poorly while they constantly praise recruiters. Work here if you need some money but look for another job at the same time

We appreciate you providing your review and your hard work throughout your tenure here and want to invite you to reapply if you see any future openings and would like to rejoin our team. It's no secret that the Healthcare sector is experiencing unprecedented times. When difficult times are occur, we always look at the health of the organization and make hard decisions to ensure that we stay healthy in the long run, while caring for those we have to say good bye to and those that remain. We truly are empathetic to your situation and sincerely wish you the best on your future endeavors.
