Pros

My incredible team. My time working with them was such a blessing everyday.

Cons

Brutal layoffs done without any warning, leaving direct managers in the dark. The way they went about it was reckless and cruel and equally to all affected…to those laid off and those remaining left to pick up the pieces. Some of the people laid off were essential to the success of the project and as a result those projects will fail. Don’t ignorantly assume the remaining team members can pick up where that employee laid off. Some employees bring skills and attributes to a team that are invaluable. To make things worse, the severance packages were insulting, not even remotely worthy of the people who worked so hard to support their company. To say it was a slap to the face would be a major understatement! No morals or ethics here, at the end of the day you are dispensable. Completely irresponsible business leadership and decision making. It will be Prolink’s downfall. Do not work for these people.

Pros

Remote work (potentially they are now doing hybrid models). Truly nothing else is positive.

Cons

They have recently changed the pay structure to line their C Suite pockets with more money and blindly robbing lower level recruiters and management of their time, money and hard work. In short, the company is truly the devil at work. They lie, don’t hold to their values, actively hiring RM’s and Directors but did their 3rd round of mass layoffs? They are truly the worst company on earth. Please save yourself the pain and headache from working here. Go to McDonald’s! You’ll make more money and be appreciated more!!!!

We have no plans to change our Virtual First model that we have received so much praise about. As for our pay structures, in no way were the changes implemented in effort to benefit one group over another. These changes came from an in-depth market analysis provided to us by a third party to be as data driven and unbias. Our recruiting efforts focus on areas of the business that need more support in order to ensure we remain stable at all times. We are empathetic to the recent reduction and sincerely wish all those impacted the best in their future endeavors.

Pros

Remote, used to be fun to go into office and get catered lunch but they stopped doing that too.

Cons

Impossible metrics, micromanaging with no actual support, they love to say they will help but never actually do. Their system, Bullhorn, is not accurate with their numbers and it doesn’t log A LOT of your calls, emails, texts but management bases their annual reviews and performance plans off of these numbers. You can meet every metric but if you fall below 12 nurses in your book, they will put you on a plan and then fire you before your plan is even up. They tell you that you need to work over time, and after hours in order to succeed, but then they have “family first” as one of their core values. They love to talk about the “Prolink family“ but you are nothing but a number. They have kick off meetings with the entire company and you just feel like you’re listening to leadership’s inside jokes for four hours. You constantly have meetings put on your books that can take up half of your day, but then you get in trouble if you don’t meet your numbers at the end of the day. There will be many things that are out of your control that will cause you to lose nurses, but upper management does not look at those situations when they are giving you a performance plan. If you don’t get 12 nurses and stay there, you’re done. Period.
