Pros

This company lives their values. People genuinely care for each other and will respond almost immediately with helpful advise and relevant resources. Lots of opportunities for office meetups and social gatherings.

Cons

None noted so far - they are growing quickly so are still in the process of building out their internal support organization.

Pros

Great culture, a lot of fun events to go to, and everyone wants you to do well on your engagements so the competition I have felt at other companies is non-existent. Everyone that I meet seems happy to be here although a little overworked (which is pretty standard for this industry). The CEO, Amy is a total rockstar and someone I truly admire. Their directors seem genuinely invested in my success. There are other people of color that I can connect with, and feel like it's the first time in my career that I have a true BIPOC network. The company deeply cares about the feedback their given and are way more transparent than any company I've ever worked for.

Cons

Although the consultant pole seems to be relatively diverse, once you filter to director level/principal consultant you start to only see the same looking individuals. Not a lot of diversity at the top here, and when it's mentioned everyone always mentions the same 2 or 3 people. I know that Propeller is working on this, but I'd like to see them actively sponsor people of color and mentor them into leadership roles. I do believe in this company so I'm sure we'll see that shift in the next couple of years. Just a little tough to see it now.

Pros

- Full of genuinely kind and awesome people - Values educational development and pays for certifications

Cons

- The work is purely staff augmentation - If a client or assignment is not a good fit, management has no incentive to move the consultant and will keep the consultant in place for every contract extension requested by the client - Salaries are a bit low and compensation conversations are kept vague at mid year and end of year reviews
