Pros

This is a great global company with incredible resources and potential. Benefits are fantastic. Maternity leave is also one of the best.

Cons

Hours are absolutely exhausting. Don't feel I am paid for the hours I work. While there is great management out there, it is really the luck of the draw with who you end up working for. I think your experience will totally differ depending on what team you work on.

Pros

This is a truly diverse place to work where there is an earnest commitment to continued improvement and inclusion. Work-life balance is truly practiced with flexible work arrangements. This firm truly gives women a fair opportunity for advancement to the Partnership. Your peers will be hardworking, intelligent and have integrity. The firm stresses integrity in everything you do. Independence is taken seriously.

Cons

Compensation and bonuses are not always commensurate with performance and value added. There are Partners that are not pleasant to work with and do practice the firm's "Code of Ethics" and in that, there is nothing you can do about it since they are a Partner.

Pros

Wonderful benefits, training, technology and amenities.

Cons

Culture is very cutthroat. One bad performance review for 6 week engagement gets you fired even if you've been at the firm for years. Diversity and flexibility initiatives are not reaching audit rooms. There is lots of workplace bullying. I have seen how people who are 'different' from the elitist college grad stereotype get pushed out of the firm. It is heartbreaking to watch these prejudices become self fulfilling prophecies. The Pygmalion effect is real in this organization. Culture is very passive aggressive and high school-ish. Displaying any form of negative emotion or stress will damage your career. You have to be friendly and upbeat no matter what.
