Pros

Interesting, challenging work from the very beginning with hard-to-beat flexibility, competitive pay and great perks

Cons

Generally expected to make yourself available at all hours if work comes up. Always more than a 40 hour work week, but the flexibility can make up for it.

Pros

Great exposure and experience with big banks.

Cons

Work life balance is a complete nightmare. Employees are told "This is PwC so suck it up." Employees are run to the ground and then pushed out the door. Not a healthy place to work.

Pros

Pay is good and good benefits.

Cons

Bad culture of hiring people that do not know much about an area, then claiming them as experts. Recently laying people off quietly and with little notice. Recently changed to high emphasis on short term profit and utilization with little interest in longer investments, or the people needed to make those investments. Very dog-eat-dog with everyone doing anything they can to max their utilization. No collegiality or interest in working with other groups to improve their product,....What you have done for me today?
