Pros
You get to work on various clients in different industries, and experience how the business operates. Benefits are decent and lots of additional benefits such as gym pass and RTR. Nice offices and some of the people are great to work with.
Cons
Due to the firm over hiring when the economy was booming, the dynamic at PwC has shifted. Many groups had to cut numbers, but to hold their position as the "only firm not to have layoffs during economic hardships" Directors were given numbers each practice had to cut, and people were automatically tiered down to cut bonuses given out and to count them as "performance fires". Unfortunately, you are just a number to them. Your success is very dependent on your practice, who you know, and who your mentor is. Some practices can be very political, and to even be considered to progress you need to be favored by many of them and have a mentor who will fight for your case.
