Pros

Pay is ok - until you read the cons. Keep in mind, any employer that has a two year claw back on sign on bonuses like PwC does is an employer that recognizes that absent that clawback, one taste of a real day in the life of the firm, and new employee would exit stage left pdq.

Cons

As a Director at PwC, you wear the hats of delivery and sales. Often acknowledged as the worse level in the firm, Directors work at the unfortunate intersection of responsible for all of the delivery while also required to demonstrate pipeline and sales. 60-70 hour work weeks are the norm year round and partner’s expecting your availability day and night with whatever homework they need done, usually due to their own procrastination.

Pros

Company that has remained stable through multiple recessions and downturns. If a role can be done remotely then you generally have the option to work remotely. Client facing roles will obviously require meeting clients on site. Wealthbuilder account - Think of it as a second 401k that they make all the deposits for you. 401k - The match may be lower but that becasue you are building a 401k already with the wealthbuilder account. Great people, great technology. They actually do take care of their people. Solid benefits overall. Firm shut downs! PwC US is completely closed for the last week of the year. There are other times when the firm is also closed and they consider this protected time and obviously emergencies can happen but for the most part people do get to actually take the time off without interuption. I have worked for multiple large companies that were considered ot have good benefits and my benefits here are far and above better. The treatment of employees here is also significantly better.

Cons

I have not found any Cons to working here. However as I tell anyone I have mentored over the years. Your mileage may vary and even the best company in the world if you end up with a Toxic manager or teammates then your experience will be vastly different.

Pros

Only you can tell you have worked in big 4

Cons

There is literally zero work life balance and full of dirty politics. You will be underpaid and get no appreciation if you can not be available 24*7 hours. management does not care about employees and manager will give bad feedback if you do not please them even if you work hard. zero transparency and everyone lies.
