The biggest con is that they do not seem to care about their employees at all. From the start, they are not upfront about the nature of the job your hire into, they all but promise you sponsorship (and then dangle it above your head), the only 'perks' are equivalent to a pat on the back. They have no idea how to recognize and promote talent. The attrition rate is laughable. I have had 4 managers in two years. I know others that have had 8 managers in one year. It appears that when someone gets promoted to manager, they burn out, seemingly because of how horrible the upper management treats them. And when they try to defend and help their former colleagues, they get shut down and then choose to quit because they have dignity and are good and honest people. The pay is insulting, and the 'raises', if they happen at all, are even more insulting. The management is extremely patronizing. If they would just be honest about what they're doing it would be easier to take, but they consistently try to frame their decisions as if it's for our best interest, when NO ONE buys it at all. They think they are managing perception, when really they are breeding enmity amongst the employees through obvious stretches of the truth. No one trusts management at all, because time and time again, they act like they are acting to your benefit and thinking they are pulling the wool over your eyes. If you don't look closely, it will appear as if management has no idea what they are doing. But if you consider every decision they make from a financial perspective, and a financial perspective alone, it all of the sudden all comes perfectly into focus. They treat employees like contractors, but pay them a third of what contractors would make. They have betrayed the employees trust so much that many employees doubt nearly everything they say (except the bad news they bring; that has a strong history of being followed through on). They are also horrible at communication. There is zero visibility from management. Management continuously makes mistakes, wrong choices, and mistreats their employees. To be honest, all of these things are forgivable, BUT ONLY if they recognize it, apologize, and learn from their mistakes (which they have not once done). To me, and to many of my colleagues, it feels like Qualitest is only about making the most profit for those in the higher ranks (especially the married couple who call the shots) at the expense of most everyone below them. Employees are treated as dispensable, replaceable and are not recognized at all. If you have any dignity, integrity or are generally a good and honest person, you will not fit in with Qualitest's corporate culture, where honesty, speaking up, innovation and care for your fellow colleagues is often met with reprimand, ignorance, career blocking or gas lighting. Also, please scroll through the other reviews here. If you see people finding them helpful, it's mostly likely other employees 'liking' that post because they agree with it. What I have written here is a mere echo of so many other reviews.
