Pros

Kind, supportive, and cooperative teammates (but this is not a pro of the company).

Cons

This company doesn't care about their employees, which reflects in several aspects of how they treat their employees. Low pay, especially for those on visas. This company takes advantage of people on visas. They know immigrants' vulnerability and don't bother to pay well even if the employee has good education and works hard. More responsibilities but with no compensations. Though it's pretty self explanatory, the company expects you to take more responsibilities and work much longer hours but doesn't bother to pay you more. When the project ends, you'll be laid off most likely. When our project ended, the company told us they could find us another job within the company. Many people in our team took training courses as advised by the company so that they could be assigned to other projects. But it turned out that the company didn't help most of the people even though they completed all the training courses, and those people just went unemployed. The company may say nice things but just to protect themselves so doesn't stick to their word. They neglect to follow what they agreed on the contract. One of my teammates had an agreement of salary increase after a certain period of time, but the company just refused to follow the agreement. As far as I know, she was a hard working person, who contributed a lot to the team. HR makes mistakes too often: We often found mistakes with our pay, taxes, and paid vacation days. HR believes that we're responsible to spot such mistakes – i.e., if we don't find those mistakes, HR won't fix them.

Flexible working environment and laid back lifestyle

Cons

Extremely toxic environment. Depressing place to work. Everyone there acts like it is a giant high school, talking behind backs, cliquey, very fake people

Pros

I joined Qualitest as a junior tester just starting out my career. From the first day it was clear that the leadership in my test center cared about my future and my career with the company. Our VP always says "I hire and promote based on potential", in my case he is a man of his words never giving up as I matured. I received mentoring and guidance from everyone including jr testers right through our VP who maintains an open door policy even late into the evening. I never expected my career to grow so quickly in an organization like Qualitest where there are so many QA professionals. While I may work hard to meet client demands my efforts never go unappreciated. Another great part of working in the Bridgewater office is our People and Talent Partner who always makes sure our quality of life at the office is outstanding. In addition to the normal day to day work he does for us he also plans office events to ensure we will always be a happy team.

Cons

We don't see enough involvement from Sr leadership coming from other offices. While our NJ VP keeps us informed about the company on a global level we still feel like we are an independent unattached unit at Qualitest.
