Pros

Recruitment moved quickly to interview. The interviewer seemed very kind.

Cons

I was interviewed by a recruiter and asked salary expectations as the first question. I gave my estimated hourly rate, which is my current rate + $3/hour because the job is part time (no benefits) and I’d have to be driving an hour each way. Additionally since getting my current job I have passed 3 more registries, gotten my oregon license, and have a year and a half of experience. (Plus on job breast training )- so for my current job I’m expected to get a pay raise soon. The rate shocked the recruiter, and their HIGHEST pay on the range scale is $10 less per hour than I started out with as a new grad with no registries or experience. Plus the area has one of the highest cost of living in the nation!! It is far more expensive to live their, then where I live and would be commuting from. (Where my current job pays exceedingly more). Their range is so low it’s insulting.

We encourage you to talk with your manager, market leader or SVP regarding your concerns. Without knowing which center or shift you’re working, we are unable to respond to your specific situation. In general we do ask that our staff help where needed, which can include our technologists working in multiple modalities, depending on the number of patients scheduled in each modality for that day, or greeting or registering a patient from time to time. As an organization we have provided raises in the past six years. In addition, our full and part-time associates are eligible for multiple variable rewards programs on top of their base pay. Again, we encourage you to discuss your concerns directly with a member of leadership, so we can address them directly with you.

Pros

You meet some genuinely nice people

Cons

No raises, they then insult your intelligence by offering *merit bonuses* which are only a % of your never changing salary as if that somehow ever equates to more money. The bonuses are also heavily taxed as the company dispenses them as a separate paycheck. Management is an utter dumpster fire, turn over rate is ridiculously high, upper management could care less

CDI does provide a merit bonus program to recognize and reward performance, coupled with an annual review of base rates making market adjustments where necessary. We do have a responsibility to follow tax rules, which does mean bonuses are provided in a separate paycheck and taxed as necessary according to state and federal laws. We do care a great deal about associate retention and engagement. We conduct exit interviews with anyone voluntarily leaving the organization, with the goal to see if there are things we can do better or differently going forward to create the best possible experience for our associates. We also look at turnover rates monthly, and partner with the leaders on action plans to address any trends or specific suggestions identified.
