      Was once a great place, but now it has changed for the worse

      Pros

      Get to learn a lot of new tech. Some down to earth co workers. Some good managers that actually help your career. semi relaxed dress code

      Cons

      Low pay for the industry. Benefits are OK, but seem to get worse every year with premiums and/or co-pays. Hard to take actual vacation as you have to find coverage for your accounts. When you want to interview, you get shot down from HR not allowing you due to your current position. Also, there seems to be a buddy system here on who is recognized.

      Pros

      relaxed work place some nice people to work with who do care about you free soda There are a few good managers who do care about you

      Cons

      Seems to be very political here. If you try to be a leader and challenge the status quo, you just killed yourself at this company. Gotta suck up to management to get promotions and good reviews, not what you actually performed. Not a lot of IT jobs in San Antonio, so you get stuck at Rax Low pay If you are a windows tech, seen as a second class citizen.

      -Health benefits are good -Smart, dedicated coworkers

      Cons

      -Pay is below market; management is aware and ok with this. -Upward mobility extremely limited. -Highly stressful call center environment -Extremely poor staffing leads to work overload and unrealistic expectations of employees -Low and Mid level management effectively shifts blame onto support floor staff regarding issues, staffing. -Limited ability to use earned time off due to aforementioned staffing
