Pros

I’ve been with YLG for 4 years, and I have enjoyed every moment of it. What keeps me coming back everyday is the fact that we are helping our customers fulfill their dream vacations. I get to be a part of something that is bigger than me and make a positive difference in peoples lives. YLG is a growing company: it’s been so rewarding working for a company that is seeing double digit growth each year. I have seen a lot of our great staff earning promotions, grow their incomes and add more value to an organization they care about. We have also hired a lot of new team members in various departments that are the best in what they do! Positive Company Culture: everyone’s voice is heard by the Executive Leaders. Our company leaders are mentors to those who want to grow their careers and want improve personally as well. We are also “Giving Back” to the communities we serve and live in too. Familiarization Trips: each year our team members in ALL departments get to travel to our top destinations in North America, Europe, Asia and South Africa! This is a great opportunity for us to learn more about our products, and check off bucket list destinations as well. I’ve had the pleasure to visit Canada, Italy, London, Switzerland. I’ll be in Ireland next month!

Cons

No major cons I can think of. We are a fast paced growing company, and that makes it challenging and fun to learn, grow and add more value. This is not a company that “goes with the flow” everyday we are striving for the gold to win. We are seeking passionate, professional team members to join our team. If you’re looking for work that matters and want to make a difference in peoples lives, please apply.

Pros

The Company Promotes from Within: Since starting with the company I've had the pleasure of seeing 30+ entry level staff be promoted in the Beverly office alone. If you excel at your job, the company recognizes it and rewards you for it. The company has recorded consistent double digit growth year over year and with that comes opportunity for growth for their employees. The Sales Retention Plan: All sales staff that hit their one year anniversary with the company earnt the title of Senior Vacations consultant, an automatic $1 an hour raise, and a $1,000 retention bonus. Senior Vacations Consultants get their choice from 4 different work schedules, the opportunity to train, support other staff on the floor, and conduct webinar presentations. These opportunities are optional but a great way to learn new skills. Free vacation every year: Everyone from the call center gets to go on one of the vacation packages every year. There are tons of options to choose from, everything is paid for you, you don't use any of your PTO, and you get paid while on the vacation. Always support available: There is always a supervisors, manager, director, or even the VP on the call center floor to help support if you are running into an issue, have a questions, or need help closing a sale. There are also monthly one on one meetings and weekly sales trainings with management to catch up on best practices to improve your sales, resolve roadblocks, and make suggestions. Work Hard Get Paid: The commission plan for the sales team is uncapped and there are multiple components they pay you for on every sale. There are also multiple ways to earn through bonuses, kickers, and sales competitions. Monthly One on One Meetings and Weekly Sales training: Everyone in sales gets training on how to improve their numbers and ultimately make more money. There's an open door policy with sales management to Office events: The office has an entertainment committee that set up office wide events such as parties, potlucks, admission to baseball games, laser tag, fantasy football league, and much more. The product: Who doesn't like vacations? Your NOT cold calling people to sell a product or service. People are contacting YOU excited to book their bucket list vacation.

Cons

The job requires you to adapt to a fast pace environment that frequently changes. For those that are looking for a monotonous non-challenging position, this will not be a good fit for you. If you adapt well to change, learn quickly, and enjoy pushing yourself, then this is a great company to join.
