Pros
Laid back, easy job, from the people that I have seen working there, they will hire just about anyone. You could move up rather quickly in the company, some crew members became shift managers within 6 months (mainly because 2/3 shift managers quit).
Cons
usually understaffed, and when overstaffed they would send people home until they were understaffed. Managers sat in their office, never helped when it got really busy. Apple Valley, MN location is always hiring for a reason! The food is expensive to begin with, employees only get 1/2 off. Managers didn't seem to know how to do various jobs that crew members were doing. If someone forgot to wear a belt (they didn't have to be sagging), management would make them use a garbage bag as a belt. While working in the winter at night schools would be closed for the following day, bad weather, they would put me in "the pit"/drive threw window 1. We were not allowed to wear anything that didn't have a Cane's logo, I would be in the drive threw for hours, I ended up getting wind burn on my face. Managers said you couldn't borrow one of their jackets (with a logo). When there wasn't anyone in drive through, managers would let me stand over the fryers to warm up.... Pay was minimum wage. Shift managers stealing items from the store (toilet paper, paper towels etc.), some employees would smoke illegal drugs in the bathrooms.
