      Pros

      - Very smart, hard working boots on the ground. - Part of the larger Rakuten Brand which is very innovative and constantly changing - Tech roadmap is becoming more innovative and we are seeing products come to market faster

      Cons

      - CEO does not care about employees or care to build relationships with clients. He talks about focussing on his own well being while everyone works long days and deals with his poor executive hiring decisions. - Due to the lack of value placed on employees, churn has been high and a number of people are looking to leave the company - Lack of diversity at the top (currently being worked on)

      Pros

      Great Benefits (401K, Health, Medical, Dental & Vision) Balanced Time-Off near Holidays Nice office environment. Company performance transparency. Everyone is easy to talk to and very courteous. Potential to be a great company with the right leadership and support.

      Cons

      Upper level management lacks direction and vision that could align this company with tech progression. High-employee turnover. Lots of employees leaving. Benefits do not change the dire business circumstances and poor direction here. Managers within the company need more international support. Lack of sound resolutions coming from Senior Management. Complacent tech team.

      It's an interesting company

      Pros

      It is a Japanese company, but expanding globally, so they welcome non-Japanese employees.

      Cons

      It is not very well organized. The founder/CEO is a great person, but he wants to control every single detail. So the middle management layer is not functioning well and it causes many confusion. Self motivated people found it non-professional and make them unhappy.
