Pros

Lots of professional development, mostly good people, and getting better at a national level.

Cons

Disorganized at the regional level, and do not hold every AmeriCorps member to the same work standard. It is an AmeriCorps role, so it is a large work load for little pay.

Pros

Getting to interact with kids daily, involvement in the community, teaching and tutoring experience, great for future educators, experience with lesson planning and instruction

Cons

Political company, Zoom 20-21 school year due to COVID, not enough work and sometimes filled with repetitive lessons on Program Development days
