Pros
A good place to gain skills. Worked individually, but had access to your team or program manager if you needed help. There is opportunity to get jobs on staff if you work hard and demonstrate professionalism. Working with students and dedicated tutors is fun and rewarding.
Cons
Professional development could be tedious, but became more beneficial as my service went on. Low pay (you are a volunteer) and I had to work a side job to get by.
