Pros

I didn't have a horrible experience with this company as most others have. I enjoyed working with everyone but that is also my personality. Within my group I had success with moving forward.

Cons

The boys club is a standing joke. Only respected positions in the C Suite are CEO and GC. Otherwise...A wall has more personality than the CFO and the President is the typical frat boy who cares more about his alma mater then his staff.

Pros

CEO is very bright and motivating . Securitization and Legal group are best in class Mill Valley office employs bright individuals

Cons

Benefits are not up to industry standard Poorly run Denver office starting with Managing Director and including VP staff and Managers No work life balance in most departments (the Denver office rewards hours spent at the office rather than efficiency or value add) To be successful it appears you must have a prior relationship with HR or the Managing Director Managing Director and VP staff do not seem to have long term vision for goals to keep the company profitable No training or continued career development Bonus structure is totally subjective and not based on merit Technology is antiquated and it does not appear that the company is working to better or streamline

Pros

Corp office is in San Francisco, local branch is in a fairly new building and still small enough to make changes, if upper mgt listen.

Cons

This is a group from Aurora Loan Services (ALS), which was a chop shop for employees. VPs are VPs by title only and not by experience, especially the ones that came from ALS. One of the Loan depts. have gone through so many employees over the past 6 months, let alone the past year its not even funny. VPs don't listen to their employees, poor pay, and demeaning to the employees. ...short the stock if you have it!
