Pros

Regions has a great benefits package and is truly committed to ensuring their employees are able to have a quality work life balance. The onboarding is well thought out and the process of signing up for benefits makes good sense. It is very clear Regions has invested a great deal of time, money and effort into their training program for new hires. The resources are of relatively good quality and are generally easy to find and follow. The interactive live trainings are great.

Cons

The Training Program-I found it to be very disorganized, Many of the course modules are in a nomadic order, preventing new hires from building their knowledge base in a congruent manner. The expected time for of completion many of the lessons was significantly under estimated, potentially making the employee unnecessarily anxious. A number of the modules are so long it is nearly impossible to successfully complete the end of course assessments and retain the information.

Pros

If you can find a quality department that has management that is both realistic and undertsanding about the current situation at Regions. It's a quality place to work. The benefits are above average and if you work in either the Downtown or Regions Operations Center locations, they actually have campus benefits that you can use.

Cons

If you have typical corporate management who insist upon Regions being the absolute best place to work, insist that leadership can do no wrong, RTO is the greatest thing since sliced bread, and everything is important, you're going to have a bad time. Regions also LOVES chasing the "shiny bauble". I have been there 10 years and we have changed data platforms three times, changed data governance platforms twice, and countless software transitions. What's ironic is that the oldest and most out of date systems are only just now being upgraded. Unfortunately, leadership is out of touch with their processes, procedures, and data quality that it has taken three times as long to complete because of lack of inventory and data issues. All of which need to be cleaned up, and your goals met, and standard day to day complete, and no, you will not be getting any resources to help, oh and another sector of the upgrade also needs your help.
