Pros

Nice people to work with, able to work from home

Cons

Claim that they have a "fully integrated ecosystem". Completely inaccurate and as they keep buying more companies and products, nothing works together seamlessly like they claim. Be prepared to use 10 different systems to do your job. Archaic and outdated internal systems and processes, CRM is horrific, and feel like you go back in time 20 years. Quotas are completely unattainable so you will not make money here in commission, beware of the OTE they promise you. Ask how many reps made quota in 2021 and who's on track to make it in 2022. Focus is on new business and most of the products have a free version which is very difficult to sell. Beware they keep acquiring companiesand the newcomers are NOT collaborating with Renaissance at all and acting as if they are still a separate company, don't expect to get leverage from the newest acquisitions. Salesforce is a mix of experience, most that have been there are used to being order takers and not having to actually "sell" their products. Times have changed and market is too competitive now. Salaries are below average, you can make more basically anywhere else. There is no transparency and poor communcations between departments. Everyone is siloed, worst I have ever seen.

Pros

Mission Great People Nice office in Madison

Cons

There were a handful of good managers but they were handcuffed by THEIR inept bosses. Most management is out of touch as to the reality of goals, compensation and workflow processes. Employees have become nothing more than a cog. As many others have stated, the mission I love has been nothing more then lip service for quote a while. Money is the mission now.

Pros

Pay commensurate with degree, used to be able to work from home.

Cons

Where to start? This place sucks! Nonstop meetings about estimating how many hours a development task will take. Count on at least a full day of 'batching' at least every month. These meetings are pointless and do nothing but waste time. There is no congruency in the methods of development and the engineering teams bicker amongst one another like a 2nd grade playground. Expect to be micromanaged at every avenue, hourly 'status updates', scheduling of meetings used as a way of punishment, and endless use of annoying buzzwords. The majority of the engineering staff are immature and spend their time playing childish games. I can recall a time when a 30+ year old male hid plastic toy 'ninja' figurines throughout the office. Give me a break, I came to this company under the premise it was professional and held opportunities to bring skills obtained through other positions to innovate and develop great products. It seems that if you're not willing to spend time outside of work with the staff socializing and behaving like a child, they're not going to like you. The majority of employees here have no spine and behave cowardly. Rather than bringing an issue to your attention, they'll complain through the back channels and lack the courage to confront you.
