KEEP AWAY!!

Pros

None at all, nothing was worth all the crap you take from management.

Cons

Human Resources is a joke, they don’t care about their employees, if someone wants you gone they will find anything to fire you. I filed for wrongful termination and WON because they are a horrible company to work for & treat you like trash. It’s 100% all drama & high school all over again. Pay isn’t worth the crap you take from management.

Sketchy Ethics

Pros

The pay was competitive for the Reno area

Cons

Like my headlines says - sketchy ethics here at Renown Health. You report harassment, discrimination, and belittling from upper management in the workplace, and suddenly you become the subject of workplace retaliation and HR gets rid of you with falsified "corrective action forms". Beware.

Pros

I love Renown values, the mission, and the vision of a just culture. If only you were allowed to follow these practices without repercussion it would be a great place to work.

Cons

There are politics in every position. If you truly practice fairly and with the greater good of the patients as well as the staff in mind you are rejected. You do not get the opportunity to continue to grow, as you are no longer a "good fit". I have seen wonderful people worked out of their positions because they have their own minds and ideas that do not fit the carbon copy upper management expects you to be. Process improvements are encouraged but never implemented to their full potential due to departments leadership squandering over who will remain in power. Leadership is a step towards unemployment. Once deemed unfit you are blocked from any other position, you can try to transfer but it will do you no good. If you dare speak about what is being done to you you are let go. I have interviewed at 4 nearby hospitals and each has said the majority of their applicants are from Renown. Shockingly several of the applicants waiting for their interviews shared their experience with Renown and it was the same story as mine. Beware!
