Pros

The Pros: They have a great bonus program, the hours are not that bad, very team oriented based, pay is reasonable.

Cons

Cons: Upper Mgt is so disrespectful to the managers as well as the staff,their training program is a joke, the insurance premiums are high and pay limited medical expenses, the pay is not worth the disrespect you get from upper mgt. I have never worked for a company that allowed such disrespect to their employees, and I've been doing this a long time. It was a huge disappointment for me being this was not just a job but my career that was effected by upper mgts unbelievable behavior. I had to resign from the company with regrets of having ever given them a chance to ruin what I have been so good at for over 20 years.

Any concerns regarding upper management should be reported to executive management in the corporate office or to human resources. Several methods are provided to employees to report any suspected inappropriate behavior or activities for investigation and resolution, or to report any need for improvement. Toxic and Micro-managed

Team members & supervisors I supported in the Charlotte office.

Cons

Toxic management who impeded on my investigations concerning central operations. I was micromanaged my entire time at this company. The last straw for me was when I had a conversation and warned leaders against telling Black employees that their "tone was aggressive", to which I had a meeting three weeks later where I was told that telling someone their tone was aggressive was not "illegal". Does that matter? The main issue is that it's not ethical or best practice to do so. HR is about being ethical. Not doing things because you can. When I put in my resignation (for 2-3 weeks out), they told me two days later that it would be my last day and that they would pay me up until my resignation date (which was perfect as I knew they would do that and already set my start date for my new role the following week). They told me it would be my last day 10-20minutes before I was set to clock out... I had not even announced to my team that I would be leaving yet. Additionally, the manager proceeded to pester me via email about setting up time to help unlock my old work phone (that was already factory reset) days AFTER my last day??? I am no longer an employee. Why am I being TOLD to do anything? If you want to be lead in an autocratic manner, this is the place for you.

Republic Finance prides itself on providing a work environment that is free from unlawful harassment. Collection calls are a requirement for all positions in the branch offices and are a normal part of the lending business. Republic Finance complies with all applicable laws regulating how collection activities are conducted. Goals for employees are established based on previous branch results, an employee’s past performance, and a number of other factors. The goals have proven to be attainable as demonstrated by the number of employees who have reached or exceeded their goals.
