Pros

I was concerned about the reviews I saw here before deciding to join. After being here a few months, it became clear that much of people's negative experience was the result of a major re-org where the consumer business was separated from the enterprise business, and turnover increased. Morale among the consumer folks, particularly among those who've been slowly but steadily let go, has been very low -- and justifiably so. My experience on the enterprise side of the business has been excellent. I love the positive vibe that's growing here. The product is solid, revenue growth is strong, the people are totally engaged and mutually supportive.

Cons

A few members of the leadership team tend to drown out comments from the mid-levels in larger conversations. They could do a much better job of soliciting the perspectives and insights of those around them. It's great to see their passion, but sometimes -- not always -- a few of them don't know what they're missing.

Time In My Career I Won't Get Back

Pros

Free lunch 3X week. Free snacks. Flexible schedule. There are new leaders that are coming in that are providing much needed new blood.

Cons

Well, where do I start. While the company has recently taken measures to improve the training and on boarding process, there seemed to be zero plan whatsoever when I was hired. I was told to "study" the product for a week when I arrived, and then I would be quizzed at the end of the week. This went on for a whole month, because management was always to busy and didn't have time for such trivial things. When we finally went over what I've learned so far, I was told that they only have 5 minutes to go over it and was made to feel stupid for not knowing how to pitch the product. Well what do you expect when you put no emphasis on your new hire that knows nothing. Everything I learned I gained on my own, but felt as if I knew just as much when I started as when I left. Turnover is extremely high. If you are there for more than a year, than you are ancient. Management seems to have no time for anyone, which in turn leads to a lazy culture as people just do whatever the heck they want. After coming from my previous company, which placed a high emphasis on training and employee development, this was shocking to me the whole time I was there. Overall, I felt as if this was a period of my career wasted that I unfortunately will not get back.

Thanks for your feedback, and for noticing some of our recent improvements to the onboarding and training processes. We do tend to see employees who are highly self-driven and independent be more successful here, but this depends on what department you join and how far along you are in your career. We continue to improve training, as we like to see our new hires hit the ground running and to feel successful from day one. Hopefully you've landed at a new role that you love!

Pros

- Very disruptive idea and platform, current leader in its domain - Engineering places high value on good programming practices, innovation, and experimentation. I am learning at an exponential rate working here. Work is actually fun and challenging - Change in the company's vision a couple years ago made Enterprise the focus and we are now skyrocketing. Management is very transparent with their goals, revenues, and costs. We know exactly which direction we are heading each month, and it's up - Maintains a great startup culture and environment (just take a look at the photos) but with the maturity and direction of a larger company - Great benefits, flexible hours, good vacation policy

Cons

- Only free catered lunch 3 days of the week (first world problems) - Salary is competitive, but it's no Google... yet - No 401k matching
