Management is sneaky. They called me while I was working the overnight to tell me that there was a mandatory meeting at 4:30 pm, and when I show up for the "meeting", instead I was terminated because of something so simple as updating case notes. Instead of just writing you up for something that simple, apparently they felt the need to terminate immediately. I only had one warning before hand so if that isn't the definition of being deceitful and unprofessional, I don't know what is. I feel sorry for anyone who decides to work for this job especially if you sign up for tech support. This department is the red-headed step child of the family. You go into this department, there is not one person in there that sincerely believes this is a top company to work for. This company only cares about sales and does not care one bit for the department that has to support the product they sale. The only people who are actually saying nice things about this company are probably in sales, or someone that is paid to put a nice review so that they don't look as shady as they really are.
When i first started one year ago, it was a fun place to work. I truly enjoyed this company and believed that they were a great place to work for. You could use the wifi password, bring in your laptop\tablet into the office to use whenever you weren't on a call(which was nice for those working overnights since this is a 24/7/365 job), use bluetooth headsets, play in the arcades room, watch movies in the break room, and the morale of the department was really good and you could see it in the way people acted. Everyone was so friendly and happy. Now, you have none of those perks, besides the arcade room, which you better hope you don't work after 5pm or you will never get to use it since they shut it down.
I don't know what changed, but apparently when you become a millionaire, all that matters anymore is making money and not truly caring about the needs for those who support your product.
If you want to work for this company, do not work for customer support. I feel sorry for anyone that believes the lies about this being a top company to work for.
