Pros

-Company car for personal use -Make your own schedule -Division managers are harsh but fair -Lots of fantastic people in this organization -Quarterly bonus

Cons

-Cig industry is declining every year. Industry is a very slowly sinking battleship. -Be ready to relocate or fear for your job on a semi annual basis -Never ending change of plans on regular basis. -Higher ups push near unobtainable goals unless you work longer and longer hours. -Lots of difficult conversations with customers putting out self induced fires.

Pros

Pay and benefits Some brilliant sales professionals you call your team

Cons

Literally everything at this point! Go through and read recent reviews. All of the negative reviews are spot on. This company does not care about your health and well-being. Throughout the pandemic year, we’ve released around 50 new skus. Call coverage keeps increasing. Retailers are mad. BAT does not appreciate the reps at all. We are treated as high paid merchandisers now. They keep pushing legacy Reynolds management out, slowly replacing them with international BAT assignments. The only reason all the new products have been accepted is because of our relationships with customers. Legacy Reynolds reps are dropping like flies. Management is getting younger and/or more inexperienced by the day. Who is going to train all these newer faces? By the time BAT realizes they’ve messed up it will be too late. They will have lost all their high performers. Motivation is not dealt through a town hall meeting saying cut the crap. Auger would’ve never said that in such a setting. He knew how to make you feel appreciated and motivate, while still providing growth and gains for the company.

Pros

Car, gas, cool colleagues. Laid back environment. Decent bonuses.

Cons

Used to be a 4-5 star company now its a 1-2 star company. Layoffs three years in a row. Work in gas stations and smoke shops, not that glamorous. Constant price increases/changes, product failures. Trade people are just there to do what their told with no control. You should take the package if you want to leave, it’s a chance to get out with some money. I see dark times ahead for this company and not much fun. Why stay if you don’t enjoy it and it’s not getting better?? If you get a package I hope you celebrate!
