Pros

What used to be great was a great culture filled with team building, workshops, and company trips. All of that is long gone and not coming back

Cons

As Territory Managers, our main duties include execution of the 5Ps (Product, Pricing, Promotion, Presence, and Personal Selling). Lately, a lot of people, especially those in the SF Region feel the new 5Ps are Problems, Poverty, Panic, Paranoia, and Pressure. This is now the environment we have to deal with. It is unfortunate that the company has made us feel like this for some time now. I will finish this year, get my bonus, and will be leaving this company and not look back. 5 years ago I was a strong advocate of this company and I would definitely recommend to people inquiring about it to join. No way I would do that with the company of today.

Pros

The new CEO is attempting to be interested in fixing what needs to be fixed. This has led to a sudden rush of positivity, hope, elevated ratings on glass door

Cons

The momentary euphoria that positive leadership and meaningful organization change is here to stay will be sadly short lived. Ultimately, the arrogance of BAT and its international assignees (at all levels) have proven time after time, they really don’t care about the company. Beyond the pure profit contribution to BAT, nothing really matters. Reynolds/RJR’s leadership role in the community, it’s history, it’s employees (current and retired) are all just remnants of a different company that’s not coming back.
