Pros

Only the kids. That is the only pro of this job.

Cons

Everything. I’ve been here from the beginning and have seen area manager after area manager, countless program managers, and endless educators. They’ve accepted that employees will only stay for about 2 months and don’t try and find a solution to the endless turnover. New “investors” that have no idea how education works have taken over and over turned how everything used to be. How can people survive in the Bay Area with working this extremely part time hours but expected to have open availability for conference weeks or the last minute trainings they try and force you to attend when we have breaks from school. We are constantly out of ratio, understaffed, and unsupportive. We can not provide proper care and provide the attention our students deserve.

Pros

Students, People, Flexibility, Pay, free time in summer

Cons

Upper level mgt overcomplicate ops and comms. Training dept is over involved. HR dept is either hit or miss.
