      Pros

      Well established name in the industry. Strong roots with a large customer base.

      Cons

      I knew this wasn’t the place for me when I knew that if I were a machine builder or end user, I wouldn’t buy it. RA has become the “cable company” of the industry. 4 hour hold times for customer support where nobody really ever resolves your open issues. Being a sales person and seeing this level of service was disappointing. As a sales person, you have no autonomy to make real decisions. You are constantly telling customers, “I will check and get back to you.” Overall, If you are ambitious, with goals of having the ability to make decisions, this is not the company for you. Early career or ready for retirement, Go for it.

      Pros

      The people, managers, etc.. that you interact with every day. The industry experience and customers Opportunities for growth, learning, etc..

      Cons

      Pay is usually below average/median compared to your role elsewhere. Work/Life balance is usually a problem as well. They refuse to pay people what they're worth. Then, when people leave for more money, they stick the work on you (who also isnt being paid enough) altering your work/life balance.
