Pros

I loved my job for many years. The people were great, and it was easy to network with other teams. My direct managers always seemed genuinely invested in my success. If you showed initiative, the company used to be willing to train you up and allow room for growth.

Cons

Going public destroyed the workplace. Many support roles were subjected to layoffs this year, and there was seemingly no rhyme or reason to the teams or positions that were cut. We were forced to train our offshore replacements in impossible timeframes before being terminated. It was incredibly disappointing that the company did not take any accountability for the layoffs. No company wide emails saying goodbye - or we're sorry, times are tough - nothing. No acknowledgement whatsoever. The layoffs were incredibly cold, and could have been handled with so much more tact, especially considering how many long-term employees they let go. I felt swept under the rug on my way out the door, after years of dedicated service to the company.

First, thank you for your comments under pros. The decision to partner externally in order to expand and have a more flexible option with our workforce is never an easy one. We hope to continue doing the right thing when/if this happens, and again appreciate your candor.

Pros

Not one positive thing to say

Cons

This company is definitely one of the most abysmal places you could be employed. They are firing people left and right replacing them with outsourced resources. People who have been with this company since the start are being let go as if it were nothing. Like others have said, this company does not care about you.

Pros

Hard to find a pro when you are ignored in life threatening event.

Cons

This company only cares about the bottom line and nothing else. With all of the global news about what is going on in my state (Texas) you would think management would be reaching out checking on all employees. The only person that cared to check on me and fellow team members was our direct boss. HR told my boss....”I didn’t realize the weather was poor in Texas. If you are not able to work you must take a PTO day.” How does HR not know that 250 + employees are in a state that has been labeled a Federal Disaster is beyond me. Texas is finally pulling out of this nightmare and still nothing has been sent to employees from home office or office management.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We understand your frustration. The work environment you describe is certainly not in line with our Company values. HR sent out a communication to our employees living in Texas and Louisiana to let them know that we are here for them during these challenging times and to let us know how we may be able to them help.
