Pros

The new leadership is superior to past executive team. Location if in Atlanta area. Great to have the technology and financial services experience.

Cons

Leadership was did not communicate truthfully or effectively with employees. 2nd tier leadership was focused on their advancement and had no concerns for customers.

Somewhat dysfunctional depending on your manager

Pros

Great manager (in my case) Place was well kept and enjoyable to spend the day in. Nice/comfortable furnishings. Cafeteria well stocked and cared for. Excellent Salary; benefits not so great. Lots of opportunities to work with bright people who were eager to fix what was broken or come up with new and innovative projects. I was allowed to collaborate on a side project with others, saved the company lots of $$ and the whole thing went unnoticed.

Cons

Politics in management getting in the way of work. Decisions coming out of left field and obviously made more for "personal" advantage than company benefit. You may not necessarily get recognition for your work but will get ding'd for any small error or what is perceived as such.

Pros

Global workforce, had the opportunity to meet some great people (enthusiastic, intelligent, loyal, hard-working) and the work can be interesting, although the project you work on is luck of the draw most of the time. Some 'exotic' travel opportunities (outside of the lab it's up to you to get out and about and away from the hotel)!

Cons

Somewhat drab office environment, and not much fun. Saying that though, there are a few bright sparks in the form of people so it helps make things better! You could work here for a long while, but you won't be exposed to much technology... so it's up to you to continue learning in some way, shape or form!
