Pros

Start up company with a great deal of highly skilled talent in the mortgage servicing industry which does not have a large presence in this area.

Cons

Employees are asked to "mask" who they are as an organization to the partner credit union membership. It makes it extremely uncomfortable to the "customer facing" or front line staff. Senior management presents the organization on interviews as professional and an extremely employee friendly company, the reality is, it's a love it, or leave it environment. Many design flaws leave all levels of staff scrambling and in constant fire drill mode. Regardless of level of experience or expertise, all associates are treated as if entry level staff, and are asked to produce at impossible levels. Wait a few years for this organization to work out the kinks before committing to a job there.

Pros

Great co-workers and onsite gym

Cons

NO structure; HORRIBLE training for new hires; Hiring people with no type of background in finance; Contact Center reps are a joke; TOO much work and not enough people or proper compensation; HR runs the entire company, so if you are on their bad side you will be fired; POOR communication between departments; Procedures and policies don't matter, it's basically do whatever you have to do to get the job done; The CEO needs to be trained on what S3 does (yup I said that); Decisions are made without the input from people that actually do the work. I have never worked anywhere that allowed the kind of mess that went on there.

Pros

You meet some nice co workers, you don't need any experience, there's a gym, and that's about it! Oh, and parking is free...

Cons

This job sucks harder then a vacuum cleaner. Management are pompous, pretentious jerks that I wouldn't trust to manage grass grow. STAY FAR AWAY!!! Micromanagement meets a new low here and the blatant favoritism is stomach churning. You get a massive pipeline and it's more important to let a member know that you are doing nothing every three days, then it is to actually progress their file. Even the loan officers can you talk to you like you are a subprime amoeba, and management will still find a way to make it your fault.
