Pros

I have worked at S3 for 3 years and am still a current employee. It is a pretty good company to work for. The opportunity to grow is available if you are willing to work hard and get involved in the political landscape. I work in the best department in the whole company which is why i find it very difficult to leave. I also work from home which is a major plus. Our department is a tight knit group that works very well together therefore we do not see a lot of employee turnover in our department. Our Managers in the lending call group are amazing! They listen to what we have to say and are very flexible. Unfortunately a lot of issues that we bring up as a department take a very long time to get fixed if at all. Upper management rarely heres what we have to say despite out department always meeting service goals. If there are openings in the Lending call group i would definitely recommend this job if you are looking for and entry level loan consultant type of role.

Cons

This company does not treat tenured employees well which is why they have major issues with employee retention in other department. I came from a different department and see what goes on in other areas and it is like a revolving door. The company seems to make decisions from the top down with little regard for the opinions of the people who actually work on the battle grounds. There is a lot of information that we are expected to know. The 3 credit union partners need to align on some of the little guidelines and rules they have. It is incredibly difficult to remember all the little nuances that the 3 credit unions have. They should really try to make our lives a little easier and align more so that we can provide better and faster service to them
