Pros

If you like working at a place that loves to gaslight you, work here! Public Sector Inside had their Glint (survey) review yesterday with the department leader. The top two complaints were compensation and work from home. So instead of addressing those two issues it was basically said that the WFH policy isn’t changing so if you don’t like it leave. It was also said that comp was out of this persons control and they can’t do anything about it. So the two biggest complaints from your sellers, the people who make you money, you ignore.

Cons

SHI continues to make internal changes with accounts so that once you establish a relationship a customer they send it to the field. They give accounts to attractive but peanut brained field reps who often times have less rolling GM than the inside sellers and don’t know about things like warchest or how to sell a chromebook. It seems like despite the recent string of firings to change culture and direction, not much has changed and leadership hasn’t learned.

Pros

Hybrid job, but slowly turning into full on in-person.

Cons

No commision received even when training period has ended, VERY low salary, they take advantage of those desperate for jobs to settle for the bare minimum, no job stability (they are working on AI to replace some of the current job duties), they treat certain employees with favoritism even though they are on the same level of expertise, overall not a good work environment.

Pros

SHI is a great place to get your foot in the door and for a job right out of college.

Cons

-Employees are replaceable and management makes it crystal clear -Low pay (commission decreasing y/y, small base salary increases, internal fees at an all time high) -Great place to stay for a couple years but don't get complacent -This position was a dead end road. - Company moral is at an all time low, teammates/coworkers don't even say good morning when coming into the office - Micro managing at an all time high. -Making employees come in 3 days a week for the culture that's not there
