      Pros

      SHI lets you transition to other departments and teams you would not normally get opportunities for elsewhere.

      Cons

      Transitions to other teams are not seen as promotions and are considered lateral movements. SHI will find ways to underpay you at every corner and are grossly below industry standards in compensation. For example, the last two years employees were given $100 for end of year bonus after increased workload due to pandemic... before taxes. Lots of politics with senior leadership that enable preferential treatment to those favored by the CEO and enable toxic culture at high positions. If you're not in sales or increasing numbers, you don't matter much.

      Pros

      In past years, fair compensation for hard work.

      Cons

      Compensation has been cut drastically, and the restructuring has led to chaos. More work than is possible for one person to do with less pay than years prior. No work life balance. Senior Leadership disconnected from day to day activity, resulting in uninformed decisions.
