Company who cares

Pros

- There is no denying that SRS Acquiom genuinely cares for their employees. They promote employee well being which is reflected in most of the Company's decisions. - Very flexible work environment: discretionary time off, working from home, work/life balance. - CEO who genuinely cares for his employees: comes by and wishes you a happy birthday personally, sends heartwarming emails and is honest in his delivery, meaning he delivers good news and bad. - Good benefits.

Cons

- SRS Acquiom is a small company. It can be hard for a new person to come in and adjust fully (feel fully welcomed without judgment looks) due to the various "clicks" who have been there a long time. - Diversity: While SRS Acquiom does a good job at empowering women leaders, SRS Acquiom needs to be better at promoting diversity. Executive leadership is not diverse and doesn't seem interested in promoting diversity even from within. - Promote professional growth.

Pros

The caliber of the employees here is what makes the company stand out. Management has done a good job at hiring people who are competent, smart, and most importantly team players. There seems to be a sense of togetherness at the company, where people don't shy away from helping each other even if it means more on their plate. Management wants you to do well, and promotes employees internally when possible. The leadership team here, especially the CEO, has a charismatic drive and belief in the employees that makes the individual teams want to perform. Even though the company is a financial institution that clearly has an impactful role in M&A, leadership has done a good job at putting the people first, not just profits. This is clearly a difficult line to draw, especially in finance. This is definitely not a company for people looking to slack and blend in with the numbers. That being said, if you are someone who likes to work with a drive to succeed in any given role, this is the place for you and you will be rewarded.

Cons

Could be more communication between teams. Networking and with different teams is not often done. This would give employees a better grasp on the company's operations and the industry overall, as well as readying them for future promotions.

While remote work has brought about new challenges - proud of our SRSA teammates and leaders who have found fun ways to connect and team build during this unprecedented time. We will keep the safety and wellness of our employees the top priority and will continue be innovative and creative to provide more cross-team training/communication so that people can learn about other jobs and opportunities. As well as fortify learning and career development.
