Practically everything.
Poor mis-management and company lacks communication between departments and even in departments themselves.
Poor delegation of work. Generally overworked due to company's demand for high (unreachable) expectations.
No growth opportunity.
Little vacation & sick time (3 days of sick time allotted per a 365 day calendar -- who gets sick for 3 days only??).
Poor pay. Well below the market indicates for the title. I've been working here for two years and have not been offered any type of raise (not even the general two / three percent for inflation).
Company likes to give you more work (projects, etc.) and does not compensate for your time via higher pay.
No bonuses.
Management is a joke. They like to put the wrong people in charge, people that don't know how to manage or what they're doing. They don't want to hear any employee's ideas or thoughts, either. They have a "don't want to be bothered with you" type attitude.
The company tries to employee what they call an "ETP" (Eager to Please) culture & tries to trick you that it's a "family oriented" business. The truth is it's the complete opposite. No one here is "Eager to Please" me. They care more about kissing up to clients and their bottom line in order to line the pockets of the higher ups here.
They like to "dump" everything to their Support team. Even things that have nothing to do with Support. They pride themselves on their Support team, but the irony is that they treat the Support team like garbage internally!!
To sum up the Cons and company mindset in general: This company is located in NJ and I was employed here during Hurricane Sandy. Hurricane Sandy decimated most of the state (no power, flooding, etc.), but the company expected you to check in daily (I had no power for two weeks) and even work the day of & after the hurricane hit!! They even recommended you drive around to the few parts of New York and New Jersey that had power in order to work remotely!! Even recommending coffee shops!! Are you kidding me??
