As long as you don't take it personal and just want a check this is the job for you.
Pros
Coworkers are friendly, often can pick up extra hours if you want.
Cons
All calls are recorded. I've learned if I implement what was given in file feedback, the next week new things are pointed out that are being done incorrectly. You will be told EVERY WEEK something you are doing wrong. Shrug it off and be happy you get to come back next week to be told what you are doing wrong. Do not leave dead air, make conversation with the customer, then you've talked to the customer too long, you could have been on a new call but you talked too long to the other customer. In trouble one week for not repeating back given info in trouble the following one for repeating it. It's no win. Expectations are pushing wipers, getting emails and scheduling the appointments and getting credit card info. You cannot force customers to buy wipers, provide their email, credit card or schedule their appointments. There need to be more job coaches. It's rare to find one that doesn't have a few people surrounding them to ask questions. Which apparently causes some of them to have attitudes. Forget time off being approved. You are better off to just call off. I've yet to experience this flexibility that they spoke of in the hiring interview. You can attempt to swap hours but the system may not let you post to even attempt that. As for raises, you supposedly have to have passing file scores and can apply for new accounts. For every 3 new ones learned you can get a raise. You are told as long as you just follow the script you should pass, but there are DAILY errors with the scripts. But they are in denial that that happens. Do not not stray from scripting. It does not matter if a person tells you it happened today, 2 seconds ago. You must ask the date and if it has been fixed even the customer calling in yells at you that they just told you it happened 2 seconds before they called you and weren't you listening?? Yes, yes I was but I need the money so please, please continue to yell at me while I ask you questions you already answered.
