Dear Sage Associate, Thank you for sharing your feedback and for being part of the Sage team. We’re especially glad to hear that you feel cared for and that work-life balance is valued, that’s an important part of how we support our associates. We also appreciate your perspective on the experience across independent properties. As a collection of unique hotels and teams, there can be differences in how things show up day to day, and feedback like yours helps us stay thoughtful about creating consistency while still honoring what makes each property distinct. Thank you again for your insights and for the contributions you make as a leader at Sage.

Dear Former Sage Associate, Thank you for sharing your experience and for the time you spent with us. We’re glad to hear that you found value in our Independence Plan and experienced a positive company culture during your time at Sage. Creating an environment where our leaders feel trusted, supported, and empowered is important to us. We also appreciate your perspective on work-life balance. The nature of the hotel industry can be fast-paced, and we recognize the importance of helping our teams stay energized and engaged in their work while also supporting time to recharge outside of it. We wish you all the best in your next chapter and appreciate the impact you made during your time with Sage.

Pros

*Sage manages a lot of hotels- pretty good travel discounts

Cons

*Home office is crazy out of touch *Talks about DNA/ Culture, and then nothing is ever implemented at the property level *The on-property HR was a joke. What they chose to focus on vs. what needed to be focused on were completely opposite. When asked questions about SOP's and Sage-related items, they never knew the correct answer which is unacceptable. *Always talk about wanting to help managers grow, but then GM and HR never help with growth opportunities.

Dear Former Sage Associate, Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective and for the years you invested with Sage. We’re glad to know you found value in the breadth of our portfolio and the travel benefits that come with it. We also recognize that your feedback reflects real frustration, and while we do not validate individual claims in a public forum, we take concerns like these seriously. At Sage, our commitment to enriching lives begins with our people, and that includes ensuring leaders are empowered, processes are clear, and culture is more than just words. If you are open to continuing the conversation, we would welcome the chance to better understand your experience. You can reach us anytime at myvoice@sagehospitalitygroup.com. Sincerely, The Sage Hospitality People & Culture Team You Belong Here
