Pros

Take advantage of tuition remission

Cons

LOW PAY, RARE RAISES and like others have stated, there is a lot of FAVORITISM when it comes to career advancement. Very disappointing place to work. Like many others have found at SLU, the Jesuit mission is just a marketing gimmick here. Lots of UNETHICAL practices when it comes to hiring and promotions.

Pros

Good benefits package. Tuition for kids is a very nice benefit. Beautiful campus. Genuinely enjoy the people I work with on a daily basis and my interactions with students.

Cons

No room for growth, leadership at department and senior level tends to play favorites, tough financial situation, tendency towards group-think over innovation.

Tuition, Good 401K, dedicated employees, positive intentions, up and coming location. Excited student learners, pretty campus, pretty flowers, lots of statues.

Cons

Poor intergrity, lack of communication, poor managemennt, no room for advancement, poor management, extremely political, no raises, lack of honesty with money,
