      Pros

      This is a good company to work for. In my experience, management seemed to really care about their employees. As an intern, much of the work seemed to be meaningful and needed to support the business. As a co-op they offer full tuition re-reimbursement if you work part time (20hrs a week) while attending school. This is a great deal, but can be challenging to work with classes.

      Cons

      The work seemed to be very repetitive. It is a connector company so unless you are in the high speed groups, the work seems pretty straight forward, not a lot of innovation. Tooling was also pretty repetitive, exciting for a bit but repetitive.

      No place is perfect, but Samtec is a great place to work.

      Pros

      The owner cares about associates. Compensation is excellent. Freedom to do what is right for customers. Job security. Nice environment. Variety of job opportunities.

      Cons

      Lack of communication throughout the organization. Compensation plan makes it difficult to reward high performers. Inconsistent accountability across departments. Opportunity bias based on your personality scores. Lack of minorities and women in top positions.
