Pros

- decent pay considering you don't need to have a brain to do the job well

Cons

- Attract talent by false advertising what position entails - 70% of prod ops managers are new grads because everyone leaves so fast - Work long hours solving problems that require 0 critical thinking skills but just lots of time to complete - Looked down on as lesser from engineering and product (as they should) - There is no career growth. People would stop leaving if they actually got promoted to interesting roles, but there is virtually 0 effort by the company to foster career growth -

Pros

Smart people that leave as soon as they can

Cons

Exec Leadership that does not listen to anyone. Way too much politics for a company this size. Multiples of each Exec at CTO, CRO, CFO/Controller have left. This is not the sign of a healthy company. These were experienced leaders that all left FAST. They saw that they were not able to make the needed changes because of the Exec Inner Circle. Execs are happy just hiring a new round of CS majors and MBA’s and seeing how long they can string them along. GM’s of the Products are inexperienced leaders and micromanagers that have never built a business. WLB only exists as a topic that leadership says they have been working on for over 3+yrs so it is not changing. It is so bad that the anonymous employee survey has been replaced with a weekly survey that your managers sees and then asks you questions if you give answer with than 4 stars. Very awkward and no one wants to speak up anymore and just leave when they can. Attrition is terrible and the rumor is that you have to sign an NDA when you leave. People leave at one year if they have the cash to buy their options or you try to last 2 yrs if we need the options exercise extension.

A Modern Day Sweat Shop

Pros

You get to work long pointless hours for a problem that will never be solved.

Cons

It's a modern day sweat shop. They pack 100s of people into a room without Covid precautions, you're highly replaceable if you don't draw enough boxes around the most random things. If you want to feel worthless, join this company.
