Pros

I joined the company a few months ago and I must say it has been the best experience of any job I have worked at in the past. I have been able to see some of the different states as well as enjoy the benefits of working with other individuals and learning. It has helped me grow and learn as a person. The company always wants the best for the employee and takes care of your further education such as certifications. Its one of the best companies to work and the benefits, salary, and experience you get is unheard of.

Cons

The experience has been amazing and I do not have any cons at this time. Keep up the great working environment.

Pros

Very competitive salary at the senior level, generous bonuses, vacation policy and benefits. One great benefit is that they will pay for certifications and CPEs. No weekend travel and more flexibility than others in making arrangements that fit with your rewards programs. Good processes and smart people means you can't help but get better at what you do.

Cons

Robust sales and lack of fulfillment resources at times means a pretty heavy workload. Like other reviews have said on here, if you don't like travel, this job is not for you (then again, if you don't like travel, you're probably in the wrong line of work).

Pros

Benefits are still very good. They are some of the best I've ever had at any company. Love working with my peers as most of them are the reason I come to work every day.

Cons

Seems like ever since the PE firms got involved the senior leadership team has been a revolving door and the cost cutting has been quiet but frequent. Not too sure this is a long term place I want to work any longer.

We’re glad to hear that our benefits are something that’s been a bright spot in your experience working at Schellman. We survey the company on an annual basis to make sure that the support employees receive aligns with their most current needs. From robust time off to our highly competitive 401k match and everything in-between, we try and keep them well-rounded to promote a great environment for our team to thrive. We do our best to give context around the decisions we make to scale our business. Part of that is making partnerships to invest in initiatives that allow us to meet challenges in a growing and changing industry. The firms that come in do so because they believe in the culture we’ve built. Our leadership team also reflects our need to realize that vision. We’ve tried to be clear about the bar we set for our leaders and provide a path for them to grow and evolve to meet those expectations. We don’t lose sight of the fact that people are at the center of our business and client relationships. Our hope is that by continuing to clearly communicate what we require to achieve our goals, we will bring everybody along on that journey.
