Pros

Great health insurance, decent compensation, close to work in school

Cons

The company has a strong focus on community and member service, and genuinely promotes the idea of people helping people. However, there is a noticeable organizational lean toward progressive and DEI-related topics, which dominate monthly meetings and internal communications. While these efforts are well-intentioned, differing viewpoints, especially from more conservative perspectives don’t always feel welcomed. Employees who express alternative opinions may face subtle pushback or be excluded from the broader conversation. It would be helpful if the culture encouraged more open, respectful dialogue from all sides to truly reflect the diverse member and employee base.

Pros

Member service is a priority - it feels good to be part of an organization that you believe always tries to do the right thing for the Members Generous salary & benefits DEI going strong! Strong team focus Management & leadership very approachable Emphasis out on continuing education / always learning We're doing well - hello JD Powers!

Cons

Top heavy - a lot of layers of approvals and discussions to be had It's a big boat, it can take a while to change direction Remote work is hard to get, strong focus on being in the office 3 days for hybrid workers, regardless of whether it actually makes sense. Applying the same rules to everyone in such a large organization just doesn't make sense. We've lost so much amazing talent because of how unbending the approach to remote work can be.
