      Pros

      Schweitzer will teach you the fundamentals of electrical engineering to the best of their ability. This company picks up in hands on learning where academia lacks. 99% of the employees work towards keeping company values ring true and makes the work environment that much more enjoyable.

      Started out okay but not what they said it would be.

      Cons

      They say they thrive on values. Not true. It is so backstabbing and toxic. Only the special few that buddy up with the bosses have it good there. Everyone else good luck!

      Pros

      1. Its great to get started with your career in Schweitzer as its pretty hands on with SEL products. 2. ESOP company so less prone to market dsiruptions and firings. 3. Happy with the health insurance, immigration support and leave policies.

      Cons

      1. You hit a limit with growth and dont know what to do next. Management is very controlling company goals and limits what you can learn as individual interest. Very conservative perspective for running the company. 2. Pay is not competitive at all. This is why we never see much experienced talent come in to the company. 3. No OT pay for Fulltime employees even though we spend days and nights working when needed. 4. All the talk about culture and values goes only one way.
