Pros

Hybrid work arrangements, some flexibility with scheduling.

Cons

Recent directive that all employees must be hybrid, pay increases are nowhere near in line with the cost of living, taking vacation or sick time means spending weeks digging yourself back out of a hole, some metrics aren’t realistic (you get dinged for missing too many calls, even if you were on the phone), very little opportunity to move up. If your manager doesn’t want to lose the FTE, they won’t encourage or help you to get into other areas of the company. New screen monitoring software. No bonuses even though they get bonuses from the clients.

Pros

Pay, colleagues, claimants, clients! Workload, the ability to always be busy.

Cons

Despite their inspiring rhetoric, you're merely a cog in the machine, a statistic, nothing more. If you have a major verifiable life event (death, critical illness), you will be told "we've got you", only to return to work and find out it's being held against you because policy states your personal life does not matter, only your work output. Their lofty words mask a cold reality: you're reduced to a mere number, your humanity disregarded. If you have kids? Don't work here. If you have family you care about, don't work here. If you become critically sick, don't work here. If you have a death in your family, plan on being told the policy states its not okay, plan to either sign a performance agreement and be withheld from advancing and raises for a year OR plan to lose your job. You mean nothing to Sedgwick.

Pros

Pto package, depending on the team- great colleagues

Cons

Low wages, high deductible insurance plans, Managing directors do not care who they trample to send profits to the top. Poor raises, multiple lawsuits on wage issues. Most departments are run on a shoe string budget; which, leaves claims workers overworked and underpaid.
