      Decent pay, decent benefits, EXCESSIVE micromanaging!

      Pros

      Workplace environment is pleasant and communication from corporate is available internally via intranet. The benefits are reasonable along with 401k, health, and dental.

      Cons

      Sedgwick puts micromanaging into a lever unheard of. Everything is over analyzed and controlled by computer software, including schedules and time off. Not a place you would want to work at if you like planning your weeks ahead. You shift, breaks, and lunches can start or end a different time each and every day. Lots of turnover because of this.

      A large workload, but if you can stay focused and manage time well, it's a job that can be done.

      Pros

      Flexible time off policies. There is a corporate-wide encouragement for personal growth, but that varies quite a bit by specific office and manager. Health benefits are okay, though not great. Promotions are possible, but like anywhere else, it becomes a matter of who you know and if they like you.

      Cons

      Many supervisors at Sedgwick report the need to continue their work day at home, often for 5 days a week. If you can keep yourself efficiently on task, this is a work context that you can survive. If not, then expect a very long work week and very little reward from this employer.

      Pros

      I enjoyed working with a few co-workers, such as the managers I assisted. I gained a lot of experiences working here, wearing many hats.

      Cons

      Too much micro-managing and I unfortunately got harassed for not doing work properly that is being asked. Had to ask and clarify many times to understand what is needed. While other co-workers I asked if they were treated this way were not. So unfair management practices. So much confusion. They also offshore some of their work here.
