Pros

SelectQuote has decent sales training, and they do a decent job of onboarding new agents.

Cons

If you're licensed in difficult states, such as North Dakota, Maryland, South Dakota, New Mexico, Minnesota or Alaska, the majority of your calls as a new agent will come from those states. In down-times, those are the states where your outbound calls will be queued from as well. Either cancel your licenses in these states before starting, or be prepared to be very challenged from an income and advancement standpoint.

Pros

Pay is pretty good if you work hard and can make it through training. (not a lot make it thru)

Cons

Very little communication, takes forever for things to change. Income has gotten worse over the years. Since being public - feel like employees have taken a back seat to everything

Opportunity for additional pay from overtime and commission plus base hourly pay.

Cons

Some days were very slow sales days.
